April 20th, 2014-Easter Service

We are beyond blessed to be able to worship every Sunday.  Easter Sunday was especially wonderful--filled with singing and worship for the glory of our Risen King!  The choir sang Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus", the Sunday School kids sang, we had a baptism, communion, and Pastor Nelson gave a great message too! :)

Here are some photos:

We have a great music ministry here at St. Paul's and Carol Rios does a great job of ecouraging and challenging choir members to sing for the Lord with special music.  In the video below from  April 8th, 2014 Teresa Spehar sings "Wonderful, Merciful Savior" accompanied by Carol Rios.

February 9th, 2014--"This Little Light of Mine"

We had a wonderful day in church this morning! Sunday school, children's sermon, scripture readings and congregational sermon all centered on being the light of Christ to the world. After all, we may be the only Jesus someone ever sees!

Here are a few photos of the children singing “This Little Light of Mine”:

February 2nd, 2014--New Church Council

This year several people on our church council had met their limit for the time they could serve (two years for two terms in specific offices) as governed by the church constitution.  Therefore we held elections during St. Paul's annual meeting for all members and while we are grateful for the people that served in the past, we are also excited for the new church council.

New council-first meeting!

December 15th, 2013--Christmas Cantata

The weekend after the Children’s Program, St. Paul’s presented the 2013 Christmas cantata on Sunday, December 15th, 2013.  The St. Paul's Christmas Cantata has been a tradition since the 1980s.  The program entitled "Let the World Sing"was chosen by Sarah Gorman and Shannon GormanCarol Rios, Music Director, and all of those involved did a wonderful job singing to the Lord in front of a packed house!

It's always so grat to get singers from all different local churches involved!
